Rank Name Position Team Comments
Andy Marte 3B Greenville Back with a vengance after missing time with an ankle injury.
Jose Capellan RHP Richmond Myrtle Beach to Richmond in the span of four months - not too shabby.
Dan Meyer LHP Richmond Solid, if unspectacular since arriving in Richmond.  Still love the future.
Kyle Davies RHP Greenville Opened some eyes with his nasty stuff in Double-A.
Jeff Francoeur OF Myrtle Beach Injury knocks him down a bit, but he is still my number two prospect in the organization.
Anthony Lerew RHP Myrtle Beach As consistent as they come - freakish almost.  Oh yeah, except for that last outing.
Chuck James LHP Rome Really, really needs to be in Myrtle Beach, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen this season.
Jake Stevens LHP Rome Been hit hard two out of his last three outings, but still impressive overall.
Ryan Langerhans OF Richmond Langer is putting up some very impressive numbersin Triple-A.
Brian McCann C Myrtle Beach A minor injury has slowed him down, but what's not to like here?
Matt Esquivel OF Rome Suspension didn't seem to hurt his bat.  .910 OPS, .240 ISO.
James Jurries 1B Richmond No power shortage here - 24 homers leads the organization.
Adam Stern OF Greenville Playing some fantastic baseball for Greenville.  Set to join the Canadian Olympic team this month.
Bill McCarthy OF Richmond Hit the ground running in Richmond and hasn't stopped since.
Blaine Boyer RHP Myrtle Beach Doesn't allow a ton of hits, but K/BB ratio leaves a bit to be desired.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia C Rome Wrist injury no longer a problem.  He has been raking over the past couple of weeks.
Macay McBride LHP Greenville Extremely solid in relief duty, although I'd still like to see him get back in the rotation before to long.
Kelly Johnson OF Greenville Swung the bat well in July.  Up to .276/.245/.480 with 13 homers on the season.
Matt Wright RHP Myrtle Beach Solid stats across the board.  Could cut down on the walks just a hair.
Steve Doetsch OF Rome Still hitting fairly well, and still striking out too much.  Better eye than Esquivel or Burrus though.
Zach Miner RHP Greenville Experiencing the ups and downs of Double-A, but has been better of late.
Pete Orr IF Richmond Could challenge for a utility spot next season if he keeps this up.
Martin Prado 2B Rome .324/.372/.435 from the second sacker - I'll take it.
Josh Burrus OF Rome Solid bounceback season continues.  Poor batting eye should put him further down the lineup.
Gonzalo Lopez RHP Myrtle Beach Injuries have put him on the DL temporarily, but is making a strong push to get back to The Beach.
Jo Jo Reyes LHP Rome Joins Lopez on the Rome DL.  Needs to cut down on the long balls when he returns - 10 so far in 74 IP.
Tony Pena SS Greenville He may be able to pick it, but I'm still not sold on the bat.
Scott Thorman 1B Greenville Hasn't quite grasped Double-A yet, but I'm not too worried at this point.
Onil Jospeh OF Myrtle Beach Minor injury has slowed him down, but soild K/BB ratio of 1.60 keeps him at the top of the order.
Carl Loadenthal OF Danville 24 walks vs. 15 strikeouts in 129 at-bats.  10 stolen bases vs. 1 caught stealing.  I'd say that's pretty good.
