Supposedly, Summit Medical Center (an abortion clinic) told a woman that she was six weeks pregnant, then gave her RU-486. A week later, she delivered a stillborn baby, over six pounds, at a hospital. I find it hard to believe that anybody could be that pregnant and not know it, or that a medical facility would act in this fashion. I guess what I'm saying is that I can't believe these facts and so there must be something else going on.

Culpepper Clark just "retired" from being dean of the College of Communication at Alabama (where I am a student) a couple of weeks ago. Now -- suddenly, withough warning -- he's getting the dean of journalism job at Georgia, which is probably a step up in class.

Considering that all the people involved in the fraud are gone now, I don't see what prosecuting the company would have accomplished.

In yet more shocking news, Lanny Young says that he gave money and gifts to Siegelman and his aides and they -- you might want to sit down for this -- did him favors that helped him make money off of the state government.

To be honest, what I don't understand is why Siegelman's price is lower than his chief of staff's. Don just got a motorcycle and a four-wheeler. Hamrick got a BMW and $15K.

Of course, he also sees himself as God's Anointed sent to convert all America to fundamentalist Christianity. And at one point he saw himself as a kickboxer. He's actually trained at that and there's every chance he could break my head wide open. I better go.

To give you some idea, the entire population of Mexico is about 108 million. 217 million would empty Mexico and all of Central America and the Caribbean with room to spare.
