Nice editorial in the headline there
Sessions backs fairer AIDS funding plan
Said "fairer" scheme would take money from large urban areas and give them to lower-population areas on a "per-patient" basis. This ignores certain facts, such as that it's more expensive to operate in New York or San Francisco, or that actually stopping the spread of AIDS requires investment in the areas where it's most prevalent.
I'm all for the people of Alabama getting more for AIDS treatment, but stealing it from the cities where it's a bigger problem would be criminal.

What's gotten into Sessions? Has he been body-snatched? Since when does he care about AIDS patients? And I agree with your analysis, btw.

He doesn't care about AIDS patients. He cares about continuing the diversion of Federal money from high-population blue areas to low-population red ones.
