I have a suspicion
This doesn't have anything to do with Alabama playing Florida in football, does it?
Anyway, the idea is that there would be regulated hunts for the crocodilians in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, which no doubt will bring out the usual crowd of "Whoo-ee! Somethin' new to kill!" and their constant companions, the Animals Are Magic people.
By the way, there's No Such Thing As Global Warming, so the recent tendency of gators to swim up the Alabama and Tombigbee to areas outside their historical range has nothing to do with that.
