A horrible, horrible idea
Area bottlers join others to stop selling sugary drinks in schools
You know what's going to happen, of course. Mass mid-afternoon comas. Nothing is going to get learned in seventh or eighth period until cokes are returned to our schools. Tooth decay and obesity are a small price to pay to keep test scores high.

Are we sure this isn't all a ploy by the artificial-sweetener industry to back-door diet sodas into our nation's schools?

Personally I think kids should have easy access to methamphetamines in unlimited quantities. It's time to really put this whole Darwinism theory to the test. If we weed out the weak ones when they're young then the species can only grow stronger.

I think he meant high as in, you know, high on something. You could talk to the Oxycontin Kid about that...
And I would suggest that we could get rid of those sugary sodas and put coffee in instead. No mid-afternoon comas for those who would be caffeinated...
