Gubernatorial hopeful arrested in Ponzi scheme
This is one of those no-hope independents, sorry. Though he did give Roy $1500, which for some reason is credited as a campaign expenditure. His attempts to get signatures to get on the ballot will no doubt be hampered by his extradition to Texas.

The story gets wackier. He was using his run for governor to bring his Ponzi scheme to Alabama. Story over at Doc's Political Parlor.
