"A joke that got out of hand"
THIRD SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CHURCH ARSONS
I know what he means, I've always found arson a hoot. #3 turned himself in just before noon, so the version of the story I linked to earlier was already out of date. This version contains pictures of the three; the first two (the 19-year-olds from Birmingham-Southern) look exactly like I thought they would. Here's the press release.

Are these three guys goobers, or what? They've literally thrown their lives away... and made a lot of other people miserable in the process.

A joke? What an amazingly stupid comment. Wonder what went wrong with those three young men? They've ruined their lives and those of their parents, and made so many unhappy.

Fixed it. Think it's the same link as below, though.

so three kids at an evangelical christian faith based college...hmmm, that makes perfect sense to me!

Well, one of them's from UAB, a state university.

The United Methodist Church is a mainline denomination, although I would classify some people who are in it (George Bush, Donald Wildmon) as evangelicals anyway. Hillary Clinton, however, is a UMC member who I don't think you'd classify as an evangelical. It's a diverse li'l group.

The "suspect" that went to UAB went to BSC until last semester.

A lot of these "Christian" universities aren't exactly Christian anymore... Not sure if that's the case with Birmingham Southern or not.
