CNN.com - Lou Rawls dead at 70 - Jan 6, 2006
The dreadful thing is that the annual UNCF fundraiser Rawls hosted will air this weekend. It was taped four months ago, and Rawls performed; he apparently got sick very quickly.

I read Lucy's quote in the story and am baffled by one thing. If Siegelman's upcoming trial hasn't kept him from talking about the issues, why would it affect her in ANY way?
I am having a really hard time understanding what her strategy is, if any.
