In the mix

Gas price drop met by mixed views

I was wondering who was against a drop in gas prices. Hippies at the UA art department, maybe. But instead, it's some people who think that they haven't dropped enough.

A question I have not often seen asked is this: are high gas prices good for America? I don't know the answer, but I don't think you can just say "no" right away. I'd like to see a serious discussion of this somewhere.

By the way, Mac, you seem to have had a huge public relations disaster recently. Sorry to hear that.

Certainly not in the short term. In the long term, maybe. In the mid term, they're probably good because they encourage conservation and some needed (but short-term painful) shifts in the economy.

What I don't get is who listed my blog. And why I don't seem to have any Blogshares stock in it.
