Bachus seeks plum banking committee chair in eighth term
Spencer Bachus would probably be a pretty good fit for the banking chair. I mean, I'd prefer a Democrat, and hopefully the Democrats can take back the House so he'll have to settle for ranking minority, but as conservative Republicans go, he's not that bad.
