So why are you running?

Siegelman predicts morality will play major role in race

I dunno, I think taking bribes is pretty immoral. Maybe that's just me.

I love how Baxley's stances are so unknown, he has to attack her on annual property tax reappraisals. It's not quite as rich as "She has a vagina, and we all know how well that worked out in Louisiana," but it still makes me chuckle.

What a slimy excuse for a human being! He has nothing to offer but a rehash of his failed agenda, so he just trashes everyone else -- except, I note with horror, Roy Moore. If this race ends up being Moore-Siegelman, I really may have to move.

I think Baxley may be playing it just right -- let 'em make fools of themselves, people will get tired of seeing news stories on their antics. By the time she speaks up, she'll be like a breath of (relatively) fresh air.

I hope that's it, and it isn't that she hasn't got a plan at all.

Anyone guilty of RUI (Running while Under Indictment) should really avoid mention of "morality" when they can.

"Don Siegelman, who described himself as a born-again Christian..." Duh. I thought you had to submit an affidavit to that effect with your paperwork to run for office.

"...said he supports displaying the Ten Commandments in courtrooms and schools, an issue that first brought Moore fame" Is this new? I knew Don had gone off the deep end, but I don't think I've heard this before. He has become such a joke.
