Guardian Unlimited | Arts news | BBC joins Lloyd Webber in search for Maria
As if there was any doubt of the absolute, unfettered evil of Andrew Lloyd Webber, consider this. The BBC is giving him a reality show. In which he will audition candidates to play Maria von Trapp in a Sound of Music revival at the London Palladium. Yes, he's managing to ruin TV, movies (if you have a fondness for the film; I don't), and the stage all at the same time.

Trump is probably going to cut an album, knowing him. And then he'll buy a million copies so it can go platinum.

I've heard there is going to be a reality show competition to choose the best spiritual speaker, but I can't find anything online. It could certainly get a nomination for most evil.
