Meanwhile...

Talking Points Memo: by Joshua Micah Marshall

I haven't got the heart to detail it, but Josh has the information on the Bushies' cynicism, corruption, incompetence, etc. in the aftermath of Katrina. I wouldn't vote for a conservative anyway, but is it too much to ask that we have a competent conservative who has the best interests of the entire country at heart?

Instead, we have one who values the appearance of competence. But if you look at his track record, why are we surprised?

I wish voters would look at candidate's experience and really approach it as an employment resumé; it might make all the difference in the world.
