Georgie played guitar

The Poor Man Institute Re-evaluating the Bush administration’s response to Katrina

I don't know, it makes me think more of Don McLean's "American Pie". The part that goes:

As I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage
No angel born in Hell
Could break that Satan spell

But maybe that's just me.

Or,

"That deaf dumb and blind kid
Sure played a mean pinball."

"Drove my Chevy to the levee and the levee was....what the hell!"

I suppose it's inevitable that liberals would attack the President during this time of crisis. They have no scruples when it comes to playing dirty political games.

P.S. Don't call me names. Really... you don't know me but I know ALL ABOUT YOU and if you call me a name, especially something like 'goober' or 'crybaby' then I'll become indignant and self-righteous and I'll pout.

If you do call me names then you're just like any other mean-spirited liberal blog I've ever visited. Besides, I'm only doing this to enlighten you so take this opportunity to learn something for a change. Don't squander it.

Maybe if the left had more valid facts and fewer invalid facts, they might be able to "break that Satan's spell."

I won't be holding my breath.

This is another part of that song that I am quite forcefully reminded of:

I met a girl who sang the blues

And I asked her for some happy news,

But she just smiled and turned away.

I went down to the sacred store

Where I’d heard the music years before,

But the man there said the music wouldn’t play.

And in the streets: the children screamed,

The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.

But not a word was spoken;

The church bells all were broken.

And the three men I admire most:

The father, son, and the holy ghost,

They caught the last train for the coast

The day the music died.

Swear to Koresh, Mac - it didn't look like that in the preview. All the song lines were mashed together - I put the br keyword in so it looked okay.

For some reason the preview doesn't give automatic line breaks even though the posts do. I don't understand why. It's okay.
