Great Googley Moogley

War Liberal: No, he doesn't

"Harrison", claiming to be John Killian's son (and why would he lie? ) Googles his dad and gets all upset at me pointing out that he (John) was a member of the racist Council of Conservative Citizens. He only joined the CCC because it was "pro-family and against illegal immigration" and was shocked, shocked to find out, after being a member for several years, that it's a hate group. (And nobody who's against illegal immigration is a racist, either.)

All upset? Having been the son of a preacher, I've learned to be a little more thick-skinned when it comes to people attacking my dad. I just wanted to clarify some facts and stick up for someone who has done alot for me. I was not upset because I know it to be false. However, it is a bit frustrating that you deleted my earlier post and did not even afford me the oppurtunity to defend him to any future readers of that particular article.
Are there Racists in the C of CC? Absolutely! Do they parade themselves as a Racist organization? Not in the least. They claim to be just what their name says, A council of and for conservative citizens. My dad, himself conservative, was glad to find A group of conservatives who appeared to be fighting for the Alabama family. Once he discovered the true nature of the group he quit attending. I can honestly say that he does not hold any hate or ill-feeling directed towards any race or nationality.(This is where you expected me to say "Hey, he has some black friends so he just ain't racist")
The slanderous comments of James Smith were false, as well. My dad has never won the SCV speech contest, he was never the president of the Birmingham C of C, and he certainly hasn't told anyone that this article threatened his postion at Maytown Baptist.

I had a third party Presidential candidate google himself and find me ridiculing him. Who would have thought that the candidate for the United Fascist Union would be so thin skinned?

You would think that they'd be used to ridicule by now.
