Stupid players
ESPN.com - NCB - Calhoun, Boeheim among five elected to Hall
That's the NBA Basketball Hall of Fame for you -- why induct some dumb player when you can put in a bunch of short white guys en masse? The only player they inducted this time was a Brazilian woman, while Joe Dumars and Dominique Wilkins sat it out.

I think you posted about this last year, too. It's particularly ridiculous for Worthy not to get in, seeing as how he was named one of the 50 greatest players of the NBA's first 50 years.
On a note of correction, it's of course the Basketball Hall of Fame, there isn't a separate one for the NBA or even pro basketball by itself (hence the induction of two college coaches and a Brazilian female player).

You're right, of course. But it's run by the NBA, or at least dominated by it. And it's beyond foolish that Worthy -- or Dominique, who should have been on the 50 Greatest Players list -- is out when they're better than half the guys in.
I'm sure I posted on this last year. And I think the year before when Worthy was shut out. And I hate the Lakers!

Whoops, Worthy is actually in the Hall now.

Well, good then. Forget I mentioned it. Dominique and Dumars should be in.

Hey, let's not overlook Bernard King, either. Heck of a dominant scorer playing mostly on teams that had no other scoring options.
