Neat
Ford Plans to Manufacture Hybrid SUV for Next Summer
It wouldn't do much to mitigate safety concerns. But an SUV that gets 35 to 40 MPG in city driving? Sounds good to me.

Oh good god no! SUV drivers are sanctimonious enough - letting them get sanctimonious that their traffic-blinding Bimboxes are "good for the environment" is just too much!
