Parts of Country May Remain Without Power Though Weekend

Most of Manhattan's still down. The parts of Michigan still out may be out through the weekend. They're muddling through. New Yorkers seem to have grown up a lot since 1977 and are mostly pulling together rather than preying on each other. Of course, they've been through a lot.

As the President indicated, we need to look at modernizing the power grid. This sort of thing simply shouldn't happen. And you can bet that al-Qaeda is taking notes.
