Adrienne Samen update
'Bridezilla' Fined $90 for Bad Behavior
Returning from her honeymoon (after assaulting restaurant workers and storming off down the side of the road at her reception, still in her wedding gown, then trying to bite a police officer, using "a derogatory word" that neither the AP nor I will repeat in referring to other cops), Mrs. Samen got off fairly easily, I guess. Said the judge, "This behavior does not bode well for the well-being of your marriage."
What I didn't know: her new husband is a Marine reservist who just spent six months in Iraq. They actually got married before he left, but this was the big celebration. Iraq is probably looking pretty good right about now...

With a wife like her, I think I would have stayed in Iraq.

Well Matt. I for one was at the ceremony & reception and saw as well as videotaped it all. No one was assaulted as you say. If someone was, wouldn't there have been additional charges? Seems everyone wants to make the bride into this monster. The truth is the caterer did not act professionally. They should not have served alcohol to minors. My own 16 y/o for one. Especially behind my back. They also breached the contract the couple had. They were supposed to have use of the facility til 4:30 pm. They closed the bar dow at 3:45 pm and threw us all out at 4:00 pm in a very rude manner. We were accused of 'Raiding' the bar. My video clearly shows a very 'normal' wedding reception with very well behaved guests. I certainly don't recall anyone 'Raiding' the bar.
For every finger you point at someone, there's three pointing back to yourself.

Well, Ernie, I'd say the police report and video show otherwise. And I'm not sure what any contract breaching has to do with the bride's spitting, ring-throwing, n-word-using tantrum. If you feel you've had bad service, is that how you handle it?

I don't condone her behavior after the arrest. Although she was drunk, I'd say we all would say things we normally wouldn't say in a similar situation. The catering facility brought out the worst in her by not acting in a professional manner. She did apologize in front of the court.

Well Matt. I don't know who you think you are to say what had actualy happened. There is more then enough proof on the brides side. They have the whole thing on video tape from both the family and the catering hall. If at all what the media said is true then where are the tapes from the catering hall. I think that you are pothetic for buying into the media and all the BS they have to offer. Do you mean to tall me that there wasn't any worse news that day or since? What about all those who are over seas fighting for our country. All the rapes, murders, molestations, robberys, ect are less important. So what it was breach of peace and some choice words (that we have all used at one time or another). I think you need to get a life and brush up on your info before you go accusing people of things and I may not know you but I know your not a Saint!!!

to Gigi and Ernie et al. I gues that the cops were lying then, I read the actual police report. Apparently you and your videos have selective editing.I guess the caterers and the facility people were lying also. I supose that the witnesses that saw her on the road and in jail are making all of this up. No-one has anything better to do then harrass poor little Adrienne. Oh but then again her behavior was justified because some one pissed her off and hurt her feelings. Oops, sorry I forgot that it's ok to act like an idiot and try to bite a cop as long as you are not a murderer or a rapist. As for your 16 year old son drinking, you are the parent, it's your job to supervise him. My parents taught me not to drink underage, so even if it was offered, I never would have taken it. But then again, all of this is someone elses fault. Isn't it ?

I've come across several news articles that supposedily have the police reports and tout them as "real". I am not taking either side but don't be so quick to think that the police reports posted on the internet are as real as they say they are. I would not jump down Ernie's throat unless you called the police station to verify. Until then, you should not put down the Samen family.

Would you like some more fun information on Adrienne? Her father is a convicted murderer. He shot a milford cop pointblank during a routine traffic stop. Guess he was having a bad day. Thomas Hoyesen: check it out.

January 6, 2004 - Police arrested Adrienne Hoyesen-Samen Sunday morning for allegedly mooning Yale University police officers.
A Yale spokeswoman said police arrested the 19-year-old newlywed on charges of breach of the peace and interfering with a police officer. She could not confirm the mooning report, but several sources familiar with the case said the arrest stemmed from a bare-bottom sighting.

Her wedding reception was ruined, of course she was upset. Service everywhere is becomong worse and worse. Then it was all blown out of proportion by the media.

Ernie, Gigi, she publicly admitted she threw the top teir of the cake, she admitted to kicking, screaming and swearing, and she admitted that after the bar closed guests went behind the bar and served themselves... Kinda hard to argue when she flat out admitted it.

I heard someone talking about this all the way in Minnesota back when it first happened. Somehow I just wasn't surprised when I found out this "bridezilla" was Adrienne Hoyesen/now Samen. I used to live in North Haven and went to middle school with her, and it's in-character even over 6 years later.

Come on if it was a guy doing this he would have been treated a lot worse by the cops. Some lady this one is, you can just tell by her tatoos that she is white trash. Maybe the catering hall was to blame for her being upset, but there was no excuse for what she did. She made a fool out of herself and if I was her husband I would run not walk away from that relationship. What happened to the days when women would act like ladies and not drunken pigs?
