Sheer genius!
Chinese Turn to Herbs Against SARS
With most treatments, you're never sure if they'll work. But some people in China have added some guarantees to the process by choosing a treatment that definitely will not work. Bravo!

At least it isn't colloidal silver, or Dr. Nostrum's Wood Alcohol Tonic.

It's cultural, Mac. You can't blame them. They've been steeped in the medical effects of homeopathic remedies for centuries.
And some of them work. Yan Xin Qigong (a Chinese meditation process) helped me get through one of the most difficult years of my life without my usual stomach problems that I get when overstressed.
That being said, SARS needs modern medicine to cure it.

Headaches and the like, sure. (Not that homeopathy ever works, but herbs might.) But this is a bad idea. And no doubt some people are going to wind up a lot worse off, and everyone a lot poorer, than if they did nothing.
